You might be asked your age by a moderator, we require you to answer them promptly, not doing so we will assume you are underage and kick you from the chat. Joking that you are underage may also result into a kick with no warning, leading to a BAN if continued.

This chat is not used as a hookup or weed locating service, or a place to sell your products. Clearned screen + warning, kicked, banned if repetitve.

• Advertising or Spam is defined as posting a link for the purpose of selling, soliciting or promoting by someone that has ownership or other "vested interest" to the web site involved, including efforts to promote other online forums or web sites by web site owners.
• If you are a web site owner and have a link that fits into our stoner world that you want to share, please contact Average Joe to make advertising arrangments.
• Links to helpful web sites (commercial or otherwise) are allowed when they are posted by someone without any "vested interest" AND whose purpose is NOT to solicit, advertise, promote, fundraise, etc.

Advertising will result with cleared Screen + Warning, Second offense may be banned.

Do not disrespect moderators. Do not argue with our moderators, not because they are "always right", but because no one else wants to hear or see the argument. Be respectful in both the main chat and any private communications with moderators or admins. Moderators are volunteers that donate many, many hours of their own time to help keep our chat stoner friendly. Your communication with moderators may be logged for future referance should a problem arise. Violations of this rule will not be tolerated.

In most cases you will get 3 kinds of warnings before being banned from our chat room. You will be warned in main chat, warned via Private Message and given a link to this page of current rules, disconnected from the chat room and finally banned.

We do not make people moderators just because they want to be a moderator. Moderators become one by being very active in the chat, friendly and helpful towards other stoners and have the extra time to volunteer. Your odds are better waiting to be asked to be a mod rather than asking to be one.

 

Moderators should answer questions and give information but just remember moderators don’t have to answer a question just because someone asks it in the chat room. Many questions don’t deserve an answer or at least not in the chat room. Just ignore those questions. Use common sense. If someone becomes belligerent about asking a question, then they should be warned first, then kicked in most cases before being banned.

 

There will always be people who come to the chat room just to get attention for themselves or their issues.. Be tolerant and they should not be banned unless they are abusive or they just won’t get on current topics of the chat after fair warnings.

 

When you act as our moderator your position of authority comes with responsibilities which also reflect upon our site on how you act and handle your position. This does not limit you from joking, expressing emotion, cursing and kidding around with the stoners who visit our site and extends past being friendly, welcoming new users, helping people understand our site and its features and how to use them, encouraging people to participate in current topics and the such.

 

You must provide reasons for your actions, citing specific examples for all moderation activity in the above rules, You will use the report feature on the user your are moderating for future referance of the issue and how you handled it.

 

Make contact with that user, give them both a open warning and a private message, conduct yourself friendly and wanting to help so they can enjoy the chat experience here also.

 

Moderators will not act against users they have a personal disagreement with, should this issue arise and become persistent then the issue needing moderating will be handed to another available moderator if possible. Your moderation should be unbaist as possible. Your here to keep things chill, so don't become the problem.

 

You moderate only the rules of our chat, your not here to correct people's behaviours or dictate to them what they can say. If what they do violates our above rules, then you should help them understand why its against our rules in a non power abusive way, remind and encourage users that they can block members they don't like. Bans should be for underaged, and users who persist to ignore fair warnings.

 

We want everyone to have a good experience in the chat room but we reserve the right to change and modify these rules at anytime without notice and to monitor and remove statements and ban anyone we find off topic, abusive and or obnoxious in our opinion or the opinion of the moderator(s). Our decision is final and we reserve the right to make the final decision in all matters concerning the chat room.

 

If you feel you did not get your fair warnings, cleared screen warning, and kick warning before you were banned from our chatroom then you can call me using the google widget below, leave your chat name, the problem you had and with who, a name and number to contact you back with and I'll review the complaint and if it is considered to be wrong you can be un banned, I will not take emails for this issue any longer.
